As a single, Caucasian, homosexual male, I’ll admit that, at times, I find it rather difficult to understand some of the more complex ideologies that surround the concept of feminism, but here’s what I do know.
Feminism is, ultimately, this deranged and unwelcome concept that women are in fact people too. (/cease sarcasm) The movement is seemingly (publicly) rejected by more women than men, which for me, highlights the never-ending, “girl-on-girl” war. For whatever reason, women are constantly trying to outshine other women, rather than encouraging them to reach their greatest potential. Feminism can also be seen as a power-trip that’s meant to not only abolish the standard American patriarchy system, but in turn establish a new matriarch system, and that’s just not true at all.
