The Handmaid’s Tale – and how I relate to it

So, I – literally moments ago – finished reading The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood, and completed watching the first season of the show yesterday. Before I say anything else: finish reading the book if you are already reading it, before you watch the show. I was fairly halfway through the book when I watched the first episode, and there were still spoilers. Made me want to just finish watching the show and then finish the book. I’m going to link the trailer here, because anyone who likes dystopian fiction or feels strongly about women’s issues will find this show highly addictive. Not going to lie, watched the entire first season in a day without much pause (but, if we’re being frank, that could just be because I have a problem).

There’s so much I want to talk about and, because of that, this isn’t going to be a review…
