I suppose you speak for all Muslims now… besides, he is not the Mayor to appease Muslim beliefs. His role is to ensure fairness and equality for every in the city.

“appease”? Your use of this word is interesting. It hints that you see Muslims as the enemy. Your liberal tolerance masks a different reality.

I find your eagerness to nitpick all-too indicative of your desire to be dishonest. I have posted many times against the discrimination and oppression of Muslims, as you well know. Now, I ask you (not that you will answer), do you believe the Mayor, an elected official, should give any special weight to religious beliefs when it comes to being Mayor?

Your talk of “appeasing” Muslims hints at a sinister agenda that demonises Muslims. Charitably, perhaps you did not realise what you were writing. I invite you to reflect.

It does no such thing and you know that. Why do you expect a democractically elected official to only represent one portion of the city he represents?
